Weightlifting is a strength sport, consisting of three events, the bench press, the squat, and the deadlift. It's actually a test of power as opposed to powerlifting which is a test of limit strength as both disciplines involve lifting weights in three attempts.
This module is typical of the mid-90's era. It is primarily a techno/dance module, similar to others that at the time other manufacturers were marketing. The sounds on board are very solid, and obviously the targeted clientele for it was dance composers with already a sequencer and effects in their studio.
The Roland L-CDX-03 is a must to make the brassy backbone of your compositions, and it works particularly well for soundtrack/cinematic music. The quality of the samples is incredible, and there are so many different individual samples per patch, that many of the instruments in this collection really sound like the real thing.
Roland L-CDX-04 is very strong, arguably the best in the bunch - in my opinion Roland's string ensemble are second to none - there's a certain warmth and expressiveness in their samples that I particularly like. The solo instruments are also outstanding, ranging from excellent solo violins, to expressive cellos and powerful contrabasses.

This movie is simply the best horror-film parody ever made. And it's also just one darned enjoyable flick. I guess you could call it a guilty pleasure. This is a great vehicle movie in the tradition of Abbot & Costello or more recently Don Knotts. It won't shake the world or change movies forever. What it will do is entertain.
Um.....
The U-110 is Roland's first pure sample-playback module - or ROMpler if you like. The structure of this module is basic, and it focuses solely on providing samples of acoustic/electric instruments used in pop/rock.
Roland U-220 is a PCM-playback synthesizer with waveform expandability. It's the upper model of the previous model, U-110. The U-series uses a type of synthesis called RS-PCM - which stands for ReSynthesized Pulse Code Modulation, and it's Roland's 2nd generation sampling technique. It is based on high-quality samples.
The NS5R is equipped with KORG's ai-squared Synthesis System, the engine that drives KORG's professional synthesizers like the award winning 01/W and M1 Music Workstations. Its tone generation section employs high capacity PCM ROM featuring 12 Mbytes of waveform memory. In addition to all the pianos, organs, strings and other instrumental sounds.
While monsters in the cabinet may seem to be a scary reality for some children, Monsters, Inc. makes it light hearted by showing them it's all in a night's work. The characters are as charming as the cast that speaks for them. One of the most endearing animation films created.
From the first kinetic moments Studio 60 is a fast-paced, well-written series which challenges the viewer to keep up with the action. The characters have full dimension and the portrayals make the viewer care what happens to each character.
