Dracula - Dead and Loving was a full five star comedy horror film by Mel Brooks in 1995. This movie was absolutely hysterical providing tons of non-stop laughter. It starred Leslie Nielson, Mel Brooks, and Harvey Korman who were all great playing out the old Universal Dracula story to a tee.
Count Duckula was another one of the many cartoon series imported to the US from the UK. He was a vampire who had been killed by a steak through the heart and was to be brought back to life by a secret ritual, unfortunately during this ritual Nanny used tomato ketchup instead of blood and gave birth to a vegetarian vampire duck.
Dungeons and Dragons is an animated television series that was made in the United States during the 1980. It was a series about six kids who were transported to a dimension filled with wizards and fire-snorting reptiles and cryptic clues and an extremely-evil despot named Venger.

Earth vs. The Flying Saucers is one of those classic sci-fi movies from 1956. It opens with some guy droning on and on about the UFO problem the world is having, describing this and that over footage of people in airplanes ducking gigantic saucers and meetings of military leaders.
Klaatu is the humanoid alien protagonist in the 1951 science fiction film The Day the Earth Stood Still. He is a member of an advanced extraterrestrial race, is unable to get the leaders of all nations to agree to meet. His message: Play nice, or your planet is toast. Michael Rennie as Klaatu give us a believably non-human character.
