Its been a tough year for celebs thus far in 2009 and its only half-way over. I would like to believe things could not get much worse than what weve seen in June, but strange has a way of following the rich and famous. Its been a whirlwind lately of high profile deaths...

Skin, 16volt's second album, is a must have for fans of classic coldwave and industrial. Guitar and electronics are fused together seamlessly, fans of twitch-era ministry will feel right at home. The tracks are all very melodic and well written. a very good album from one of the pioneers of industrial rock.

If there is ever an album that is exemplory of what industrial music should sound like, it's 16 Volt's Wisdom. It's noisy, percussive and very oppressive, with a dark edge to it. The beats sound like concrete being crushed, it's near perfect. It's one of the few discs of where the percussion is so overpowering that it outdoes the guitar.

SuperCoolNothing is an artistic masterpiece. Raging riffs, sinister, nursery rhyme like vocals, equal mix of electronic industrial soundscapes, everything. This is a fantastic finale to a great career, and though its sound is totally different to the awesome Wisdom, its a perfect album. Each track makes sense and leads you into the next.
